Do I need to show up to a photoshoot?

When working with vendors, the photoshoot marks the deliverable after signing the form 6. It’s not just about capturing the home’s best features; it’s also about building a relationship and establishing trust.

1. Building Trust with the Vendor

For many vendors, the photoshoot is the first time the sale process truly becomes real which can make it emotional for the owner. It’s also your first opportunity to demonstrate that you are the right person to sell their home. Your presence will give them confidence that you know what you’re doing. Use this time to guide them through the process, answer their questions, and map out the next steps.

2. Reassuring the Tenant

If tenants are involved, this could be their first point of inconvenience in the sale process. They may be anxious about disruptions, so being present allows you to reassure them and address any concerns they may have. This shows you’re considerate of their experience and can make the process smoother for everyone.

3. Aligning the Photographer’s Vision with Your Own

While professional real estate photographers are skilled at capturing a property’s value, it’s still helpful for you as the agent to be there to ensure the vision aligns with your own. You know the property best and understand which features will appeal most to buyers. Being present gives you the opportunity to make sure these are highlighted.
